In that case, relevant information may be shared with veterinary professionals as needed.

Your contact number is stored on a biometrically protected phone, with identifiers limited to your first name and your pet’s name for privacy.

3. Use of Photos

Photos of your pets will only be shared on social media or the Hounds at Home website with your explicit permission. Any images or messages sent via WhatsApp are transmitted over a secure, encrypted platform.

4. Data on Electronic Devices

No personal data is stored on a computer hard drive. Instead, data is saved to a removable hard drive, which is securely locked away when not in use. All digital communications including messages and photos are conducted through encrypted, secure platforms to ensure your privacy is maintained.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Upon receiving your request, your data will be securely destroyed; unless we are legally required to retain certain information for a specified period by Gosport Borough Council or HMRC.
