Delivery of services are subject to Hounds at Home – Boarding for Dogs Terms and Conditions.
Dog home boarding £32 per twenty four hour period. Your dog stays in our home for the duration of their stay, cared for as part of the family and exercised as per their normal routine.
Collection before midday and drop off after midday. Any request for a later collection or earlier drop off will be considered, subject to other bookings; an additional surcharge will apply.
50% Surcharge for days falling on a Bank Holiday.
A 50% discount for additional household dogs.
£0.85 Pet Taxi Mileage - per mile

1-5 days Boarding - £30.
Periods in excess of 5 Days – 25% of balance

As a Five Star facility, we’re proud to offer the highest standard of care for your dog. To help your pet settle in comfortably, we provide the following for new boarding guests:
Free Half-Day Stay: All dogs boarding with us for the first time are invited to enjoy a complimentary half-day stay to get acquainted with our team and environment.
Trial Overnight Stay: For dogs scheduled to stay three nights or more, we offer a trial overnight stay at our standard daily rate. This allows us to ensure your dog is comfortable before their longer stay.
These introductory visits help your dog get familiar with our home and routine in a calm, gradual way. It’s a gentle way to ease them in—building trust and confidence before their full stay.
By visiting, leaving, and returning, your dog learns that this is a safe, happy place they come back to—making their first overnight stay far more comfortable and stress-free.
Meet & Greet: Building Trust from the Start
At Hounds at Home, we believe a positive first impression makes all the difference. That’s why we require a Meet & Greet for every new guest before their first stay.
This initial visit provides peace of mind—not only for you, knowing your dog is in safe, experienced hands—but also for us, ensuring we fully understand your dog’s needs and personality.
During the Meet & Greet we will:
Welcome you into our home so you can see where your dog will be staying.
Take time to get to know your dog in a calm, relaxed setting.
We complete a pre-check-in to confirm key details, including vaccination status, feeding times, your dog’s routine, and any special requirements, all align with the information provided on your Client Information Form.
It’s the perfect opportunity to build trust, ask questions, and help your dog feel at home before their holiday even begins.
